Who is Rosie J. Pova?

​Rosie J. Pova is a multi-published and award-winning children's book author, poet, writing coach, and speaker who brings a unique blend of inspiration and education to every school visit. Her engaging and interactive workshops are tailored to all elementary grade levels as Rosie seamlessly aligns her presentations with school curricula, making learning both fun and impactful. Her visits encourage students to read, write, and explore their creativity, while also inspiring them to dream big, persevere through challenges, and embrace a growth mindset.

Rosie’s own personal journey—from arriving in the U.S. as a Bulgarian immigrant with limited English skills to becoming a successful author—resonates deeply with students. Through her personal story, she helps them understand the power of resilience, hard work, and the courage to follow their dreams.

Her picture book Sunday Rain was featured in The New York Times and recommended by Parents magazine, now translated into Arabic. The School of Failure: A Story About Success, a silver medalist in the Readers’ Favorite Awards, is available in Chinese. Her latest book, Sally's Musical Tale, follows a determined snake with a passion for piano playing and is now available for pre-order.

NOTE: Assembly and middle school presentations are available upon request.

Travel Fees | Rosie is located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX area. Travel of over 50 miles driving distance is charged at $.67/mile roundtrip plus estimated toll fees. For any drive over 2 hours, hotel lodging is required. 

Outside of the DFW metroplex visits are $1,900 for a full day, plus any of the following, if applicable: airfare/mileage fees, lodging, taxi, car rental, meals, $300 per commute day (before and after the day of the visit)
